NewspaperFUVI supports the Okhmatdit children’s hospital, destroyed by Russia

May 6, 2025

On July 18 and 19, the Ukrainian Fund for International Volunteers (FUVI) held an important meeting in Kiev with several medical and legal institutions. Among the participants were the “Okhmatdit” national children’s hospital, represented by its director Volodymyr Zhovnir, and their lawyers, and the “Adonis” clinic, an entity of the “Adonis Medical Enterprise Group”.

This meeting comes after the premises of the “Adonis” clinic were severely damaged by a rocket attack, resulting in the death of seven people, including employees of the facility.

This meeting with FUVI is part of the legal task force set up with Cabinet Ligneul to defend victims and support the complaints filed by Cabinet Ligneul before the ICC for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Delegates from our legal taskforce are on hand to help victims assert their rights.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in efforts to rebuild and support victims of conflict in Ukraine, highlighting FUVI’s commitment to helping local institutions and people affected by this tragedy.
