For over three years, FUVI – the Ukrainian International Volunteer Fund – and Attorney-at-Law Nicolas Ligneul have worked relentlessly, day and night, to represent Ukrainian victims of war crimes and crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court.
What started as a handful of cases has grown into hundreds, and soon, thousands. Every testimony, every file we build is a cry for justice from a people enduring the unthinkable: mass killings, the torture of prisoners, the rape of women and children, the abduction of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children by Russian authorities, and the annihilation of cultural heritage, hospitals, maternity wards, schools, homes.
This is not “just war.”
This is genocide.
The FUVI-Ligneul Task Force is an unprecedented alliance of legal precision, moral determination, and international solidarity. Our team includes French, Austrian, British, Swiss, American, and Mexican volunteers. And above all, dozens of Ukrainian FUVI Delegates — civilians turned human rights defenders — who work on the ground, under fire, to gather evidence from bombed villages, ruined homes, and grieving families.
They do it because silence is complicity.
They do it because Justice cannot wait.
But we cannot do it alone.
